Families across Eastern Charlotte are facing a serious shortage of childcare. For many, finding a safe, reliable daycare space isn’t just difficult — it’s impossible.
This “daycare desert” forces parents to make tough choices: delay returning to work, travel long distances, or sit on waitlists with no clear answers.
Our Impact
Utopia Early Education Center is being created to change that.
With 47 childcare spaces — including infant, toddler, and afterschool care — we are working to provide families with the support they need.
